French automaker Citroen has introduced its latest premium hatchback, the 2024 Citroen C3, in the Indian market, with prices starting at ₹6.16 lakhs (ex-showroom). Bookings for the new C3 have already begun on Citroen India's website and at La Maison Citroen dealerships, with deliveries set to commence in September.
The 2024 Citroen C3 comes equipped with advanced features such as six airbags, 3-point seat belts with reminders for all seats, ABS with EBD, and Electronic Stability Program (ESP). Additionally, the car boasts LED projector headlamps, automatic climate control, power window switches on the doors, and auto-folding ORVMs with turn indicators.
The C3 also features 'My Citroen Connectivity,' offering 40 connectivity features, including remote start/stop with pre-conditioning, geo-fencing, remote lock/unlock, and marketplace fueling.
Under the hood, the C3 offers multiple powertrain options, including a 1.2-liter PureTech 82 naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.2-liter Gen-3 PureTech 110 turbo petrol engine. These engines are paired with either a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, or the newly introduced 6-speed automatic transmission.
The 2024 Citroen C3 is set to compete against popular models like the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, Tata Altroz, and Toyota Glanza.
