Chiranjeevi Donates Generously to Kerala Relief Fund: Check Handed Over to CM Pinarayi Vijayan


Megastar Chiranjeevi is known for his humanitarian efforts and being a pillar of support during crises, be it the COVID-19 pandemic or natural disasters. In a recent move, he has stepped forward to help the victims of the devastating landslides in Wayanad, Kerala. The catastrophic landslides have left entire villages in ruins, prompting Chiranjeevi and his son, Ram Charan, to donate a substantial amount of ₹1 crore to aid the relief efforts.

Generous Contributions from Film Industry

Chiranjeevi, along with Ram Charan, has made one of the largest donations to the Wayanad relief fund. Other celebrities from the film industry, including Mohanlal, Mammootty, Dulquer Salmaan, Kamal Haasan, and Allu Arjun, have also contributed generously to the cause.

Chiranjeevi recently traveled to Kerala to personally hand over the cheque to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. During this visit, he urged the central government to declare the Wayanad disaster as a national calamity and requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take necessary actions. He called upon everyone to come forward and help the affected people of Wayanad.

Currently, Chiranjeevi is busy shooting for his upcoming film, "Vishwambhara," which is set to release on January 10th as a Sankranti gift to fans. The director, Vashishta, is working diligently to complete the shooting schedule, with music composed by Keeravani. Videos related to the film's music sittings have already gone viral, creating a buzz among fans. Trisha is starring opposite Chiranjeevi in the film, marking their on-screen reunion after "Stalin."
