Great news for those who've wrapped up their engineering or diploma and are on the hunt for a job! The Staff Selection Commission has thrown a lifeline by announcing the recruitment for 968 junior engineer vacancies across various departments of the central government. 🎉
These positions, starting with a salary of up to 50,000 INR a month, come with a set of criteria: applicants must hold a diploma or degree in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering. Age limits vary by department, with a maximum of 32 years for CPWD posts and 30 years for others, although relaxations apply based on reservation categories. The pay scale ranges from 35,400 to 1,12,400 INR right from the start.
Eligible candidates should apply online by April 18th. The computer-based exam, Paper-I, will take place from June 4th to June 6th. Paper-I will ask 200 questions from three subjects, including a specialization subject, all in an objective format. Be wary of negative marking; each incorrect answer will cost you 0.25 marks. Qualifying marks are set based on reservation categories.
