Eminent educationist, Dr. Boppana Satyanarayana Rao (BS Rao), head of Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions passed away. He is 75 years old. The doctors said that he breathed his last on Thursday (July 13) afternoon due to a heart attack while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Hyderabad. The family members will move his body to Vijayawada. Arrangements are being made for the funeral tomorrow in Vijayawada.
😱 Dr. BS Rao, who completed his higher education, first served as a doctor in England and Iran. In 1986, 'Sri Chaitanya Girls' Junior College' was started in Vijayawada. This step taken by him caused great changes in the field of education in the later period. The educational institutions were expanded step by step as they gained good recognition in no time. They started their institutions in all major cities of Telugu states.
Sri Chaitanya Education Group currently runs 321 Junior Colleges, 322 Techno Schools and 107 CBSE Schools across the country.
