Chief Minister Revanth Reddy criticized the BRS leaders, saying they haven't changed even after being defeated in the Assembly and Parliament elections. 🗳️ During a discussion on the budget in the Assembly, he challenged the BRS leaders to agree to an investigation into three schemes they boast about. He blamed the previous BRS government for the pending irrigation projects in Telangana and accused them of selling lands in Ranga Reddy district without providing water.
Revanth Reddy alleged that the BRS leadership intended to turn Ranga Reddy district into a desert. He questioned Finance Minister Harish Rao for only mentioning debts and not disclosing the sales figures. Revanth also accused the BRS government of ₹700 crores corruption in the sheep distribution scheme and selling the ₹1 lakh crore worth ORR for ₹7,000 crores. He pointed out that Bathukamma sarees were imported from Surat and distributed, questioning if they are ready for an investigation into the Bathukamma sarees and sheep distribution schemes.
Earlier, during the budget discussion in the Assembly, Harish Rao mentioned that the BRS government increased the GSDP from ₹4.5 lakh crores to ₹14 lakh crores and raised the pension from ₹200 to ₹2,000. He demanded proof from those claiming BRS governance is poor.
