#BlockbusterRewind: Chiranjeevi's 'Indra' Set for Re-Release!

🎉 Megastar Chiranjeevi’s birthday is just around the corner, and the celebrations have already begun! Fans across the Telugu states are gearing up to make this year's celebrations grand, especially with the recent honor of the Padma Vibhushan and a new addition to the Mega family.

Adding to the excitement, Chiranjeevi’s all-time blockbuster hit 'Indra' is set for a grand re-release on August 22nd. Originally produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, this film was a sensation when it first hit the screens. Now, it’s coming back in a stunning 4K version, promising a fresh experience for both old and new audiences.

Behind the Scenes: The Untold Story of Indra

Recently, some interesting facts about the making of 'Indra' have surfaced, thanks to actor Raja Ravindra. During an interview, Raja revealed that during the film’s shooting, director B. Gopal had to leave for Switzerland for the song shoots of Jr. NTR’s 'Allari Ramudu'. In his absence, Chiranjeevi himself took the director's chair, especially for the flashback scenes, including the iconic homam sequence and songs.

Raja shared that these scenes were shot in the scorching heat of May, with temperatures so high that the crew couldn’t even step out of their caravans. Yet, Chiranjeevi, ever the professional, filmed those intense scenes in the blazing sun, often without a shirt, just draped in a towel. The shooting lasted nearly 29 days under these harsh conditions.

After completing the shoot, Chiranjeevi, in his humble style, apologized to the junior artists on set for making them work in such extreme weather, citing the need to finish on time. Raja Ravindra praised Chiranjeevi’s humility and dedication, highlighting how these qualities made the flashback scenes in 'Indra' so memorable.

Now, with the movie re-releasing, fans can relive the magic of 'Indra' on the big screen, celebrating both the film and the legacy of Megastar Chiranjeevi! 🎬
