BJP's JP Nadda Summoned Amid Political Tussle!

In a significant development, Bengaluru Police have issued summons to BJP Chief JP Nadda following a controversial tweet posted on May 5 from the BJP's official Twitter account. The tweet, deemed offensive to Muslims, sparked a quick reaction from the police, who requested its immediate removal. Subsequently, the DGP's office ordered an investigation on the same day, and a case was registered at the High Grounds Police Station in Bengaluru.

The police have also issued summons to BJP IT Cell chief Amit Malaviya and Karnataka BJP President BY Vijayendra, demanding their appearance within a week to explain the tweet in question. This move raises questions about whether this is part of an ongoing war between the central government and state governments controlled by opposition parties.

Earlier, a doctored video that misrepresented Home Minister Amit Shah's comments on Muslim reservations circulated widely, prompting a case by Delhi Police against leaders of the Congress party, including Telangana Congress' Revanth Reddy. This back-and-forth between the two major political parties has now seemingly evolved into a law enforcement battle, with both parties leveraging police authority in opposing states to settle scores.

This development is a telling sign of the increasingly blurred lines between political rivalry and governance, raising concerns about the implications for public trust and the functioning of democratic institutions in India.
