BJP NDA Expectations Turn Upside Down With India Alliance Leading In Initial Trends

In the ongoing general elections, BJP is showcasing a strong lead, ahead in 290 seats. In comparison to their 303 seats win in the 2019 elections, BJP is currently 57 seats behind. Congress is leading in 88 seats, a significant improvement from their 52 seats in 2019, indicating a gain of 36 seats. The Samajwadi Party is ahead in 32 seats, a remarkable jump from just 5 seats in 2019.

Uttar Pradesh:

BJP's expectations in UP have been challenged with Samajwadi Party giving a tough fight. Out of the 80 seats, BJP is leading in 39, SP in 30, Congress in 7, and RLD in 2.

Maharashtra:

The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance is leading with 27 out of 48 seats, while NDA is ahead in 20, and AIMIM in 1.

Karnataka:

BJP is leading in 17 out of 28 seats, Congress in 8, and JD(S), BJP’s ally, in 3.

Delhi:

BJP dominates with a lead in 6 out of 7 seats, while Congress is ahead in 1.

Bihar:

NDA maintains a lead with JD(U) in 15, BJP in 12, LJP in 5, RJD in 3, and others in 5 seats.

West Bengal:

TMC is leading in 29 out of 42 seats, while BJP is ahead in 13.

Gujarat:

BJP is sweeping Gujarat with a lead in 25 out of 26 seats, while Congress is ahead in 1.

Andhra Pradesh:

NDA, including TDP (14 seats), BJP (4 seats), and Jana Sena (2 seats), is leading. YSRCP is ahead in 5 seats.

Telangana:

Congress leads in 9 out of 17 seats, BJP in 7, and AIMIM in 1.

Madhya Pradesh:

BJP is leading in all 25 seats, aiming for a clean sweep.

Kerala:

Congress is leading in 13 out of 20 seats, IUML in 2, BJP in 2, CPM in 1, and others in 2.

Punjab:

A close contest between Congress (6 seats), AAP (3 seats), SAD (2 seats), and others (2 seats).

Chhattisgarh:

BJP is leading in 10 out of 11 seats, while Congress is ahead in 1.
