Balkampet Yellamma Kalyanam in the city will be held on June 20. Animal Husbandry Minister Thalasani Srinivas Yadav held a review meeting on the arrangements for Balkampet Yellamma Kalyanam in his chamber at the New Secretariat.
The minister directed the officials to take all precautions to avoid inconvenience to the devotees.In the last year, the devotees were inconvenienced while performing Kalyanam in the temple. After the formation of Telangana, as the devotees flocked in large numbers, the authorities built a shed in front of the temple and made timepass.The minister said that the government is considering all necessary arrangements for the welfare of Balkampet Yellamma Kalyanam this year. Shops constructed near the temple for small businesses will be provided free of cost to deserving people. Newly elected Balkampet Temple Committee members will be sworn in the temple at 10:30 am on this tuesday.
