Telugu film "Balagam," directed by actor Venu, was a huge hit, especially loved for its touching climax song. This song, which left many in tears, was beautifully rendered by the Budagajangala artists Pastham Mogilayya and his wife. Post "Balagam," Mogilayya gained recognition but has been facing severe health issues recently.
Mogilayya suffers from kidney and heart ailments. A few months ago, his health worsened, and he was hospitalized. During that time, support came from the BRS government and Megastar Chiranjeevi for his treatment. However, he has now fallen ill again and is admitted to a private hospital in Warangal, struggling financially.
Mogilayya’s wife has made a public plea for financial assistance to cover the mounting medical expenses, especially since his health deteriorated with both kidneys failing during the COVID-19 pandemic. Mogilayya requires regular dialysis, which is costly and has left the family in dire straits.
