KTR along with Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar unveiled the newly constructed NTR Park statue at the cost of Rs.1.37 crore on Lakaram Tank Bund in Khammam. He spoke in a meeting organized on this occasion. "World famous Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao is very dear to all Telugu people all over the world. NTR is a great leader who left an indelible mark on people's minds. We don't know what Rama looks like.. We don't know what Krishna looks like.. Either Rama or Krishna is the same for us. NTR made us realize that there are Telugu people in India. Mahoni's place in history will always be memorable. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to unveil his statue. I am very happy to have the name Taraka Rama Rao. There is power in Taraka Rama Rao's name. As a disciple of NTR, KCR Telangana's existence was talked about all over the country. No one in South India including NTR has scored a hat-trick so far. It will be possible for CM KCR soon," said KTR confidently
