AP Govt Halts Deputation Officer Transfers 🚫

The Andhra Pradesh government has made a crucial decision regarding officers on deputation, deciding not to relieve them. With the new government set to take office, key orders have been issued concerning these deputation officers. Several officers on deputation had applied for relief to return to their parent organizations.

Among those requesting relief are IG of Stamps and Registrations Ramakrishna and former MD of Beverages Corporation Vasudevara Reddy, who wish to return to their parent departments. Others include MD of Mines Department Venkat Reddy, MD of APFSL Madhusudan Reddy, and Industries Commissioner Rajeshwar Reddy. Information Commissioner Vijay Kumar Reddy has also sought immediate relief from his duties. Additionally, Special Chief Secretary of Finance SS Rawat has requested to go back to Telangana, along with several other key department officers applying for transfers.

Previously, the TDP had heavily criticized the officers on deputation. Now, the government has decided not to grant any leaves to senior officials. For example, TTD EO Dharma Reddy's leave application was rejected by the government. Additionally, CID Chief Sanjay has already withdrawn his leave proposal.
