🚢 Another ship destroyed in Houthi attack.!

On Sunday evening, the US Central Command announced that Houthi militants attacked the Rubimar ship belonging to the Central American country of Belize. It said the ship was damaged after being attacked by two anti-ship ballistic missiles. It explained that the crew abandoned the ship after the attack. The Houthi militant group has been disrupting commercial activities in the maritime waterway for some time. But this is the first time the crew has abandoned the ship in this way. A combined warship and another merchant vessel responded as the crew called for assistance. Rubimar's crew were safely evacuated to a nearby port.

🌐 There are reports that a Houthi spokesman claimed that an unidentified British ship was completely sunk due to the attack. But this matter is not confirmed yet. The Rubymar is a small cargo ship whose owner is known to be based in Southampton, England, according to reports. Since November last year, the Houthi militant group has been attacking commercial ships with missiles and drones off the coast of Yemen. With the help of Iran, they are seriously hampering the commercial transport at sea. Especially the ships connected with Israel, America and UK are being attacked. The attacks are in response to Israel's war in Gaza.
