Another Low Pressure in Bay of Bengal! Heavy Rains to Continue in Telangana for Three More Days! 🌧️


The Hyderabad Weather Center has issued a warning for heavy rains to continue in Telangana for the next three days. It has forecasted the formation of another low-pressure area over the northwest Bay of Bengal by September 5, which is likely to impact the weather conditions in the region. The monsoon trough is currently extending from Jaisalmer, Raisen, Chhindwara, and the low-pressure center over eastern Vidarbha, passing through Telangana and Machilipatnam towards the southeast direction up to the central Bay of Bengal. 🌊

Heavy rainfall is expected in Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Sangareddy, Medak, and Kamareddy districts on Monday. There is also a chance of thunderstorms, lightning, and winds blowing at speeds of 30-40 km/hr in some places. 🌪️

On Tuesday, similar weather conditions are expected in districts like Adilabad, Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Peddapalli, Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanmakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri. The weather department has issued a yellow alert for these districts, indicating heavy to very heavy rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning. 🌩️

In the last 24 hours, heavy to very heavy rainfall has been recorded in districts like Kamareddy, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Nirmal, Siddipet, and Medak. Kamareddy district recorded the highest rainfall of 25.4 cm, followed by Sadashivanagar with 24 cm, and Thumpalli in Nizamabad district with 22.1 cm. 🌧️
