Anirudh’s Telugu Magic Missing? 🎶

Anirudh Ravichander is undoubtedly a musical sensation in Tamil cinema, having shot to fame with the viral hit "Kolaveri Di" at just 17. He has since delivered numerous blockbuster tracks and background scores, winning hearts not just in Tamil Nadu but also among Telugu audiences. Telugu fans have eagerly awaited Anirudh's magic in their films, but so far, his music hasn't created the same impact as in Tamil cinema.

Starting with Agnyaathavaasi, which was a disappointment, his other Telugu projects like Gang Leader and Jersey with Nani had good music but didn't reach the blockbuster level of his Tamil works. Fans are now pinning their hopes on Junior NTR's Devara, but the teaser score and the recently released "Fear Song" have not lived up to the expectations.

While the "Fear Song" isn't bad, it feels like it lacks the originality that Anirudh is known for, especially when compared to his hit Tamil tracks like "Hukum." This has led to many complaints. On the other hand, Anirudh's recent release "Soura" from the Tamil film Indian-2 showcases the quality and originality that fans expect, making it clear that the magic is missing in his Telugu compositions.

The question now arises: Are Telugu directors failing to get the best out of Anirudh, or is Anirudh treating Telugu projects as mere formalities?
