Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah has secured a massive victory, delivering the first win for the NDA alliance in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Contesting from Gandhinagar in Gujarat, Amit Shah defeated his closest rival, Congress candidate Sonal Ramanbhai Patel, by a staggering margin of 4.10 lakh votes. Shah received a total of 5.26 lakh votes, while Patel managed to secure only 1.15 lakh votes.
