"Adipurush to Feature Cutting-Edge Avatar Technology"

Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer mythological epic "Adipurush" is set to hit the screens in January next year. However, the recently released teaser of the movie has sparked controversy over its graphics. Some Hindu groups have raised objections, claiming that the portrayal of Ravana is offensive, and have filed complaints against the makers of the film. The director and makers of the movie are now reportedly making efforts to address the concerns raised by the protesters. Adipurush is a retelling of the Indian epic Ramayana, where Prabhas will be seen playing the role of Lord Rama and Kriti Sanon as Sita. The film also stars Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh (Ravana). The movie is slated for release on June 16.
