Trinamool Congress party headed by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee recently announced its candidates for 14 Lok Sabha seats in West Bengal. The name of yesteryear Tollywood heroine Archana Banerjee is also there. She will contest from Hooghly Lok Sabha seat. Rachna Banerjee from Bengal is well known to the Tollywood audience. Rachna acted as the heroine in hit movies Bavagaru Bagunnara, Pilla Nachhindi, Mavidakulu, Sultan, Kanyadaman Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo and others. She also made movies in Bengali, Tamil and Kannada languages and got the appreciation of the audience there. Currently, she is acting as an anchor and judge for Bengali serials as well as TV reality shows. Andala Tara is now ready to test her luck in the Parliament elections for the first time. 😮
