In the Bengaluru Rave Party case, the police have filed the final chargesheet, including Tollywood actress Hema among the names. The chargesheet reportedly mentions Hema as one of the 88 people who consumed drugs at the party, and the police have also attached an MDMA medical report as evidence. The chargesheet also names nine people as organizers of the rave party.
However, speaking to the media, Hema firmly denied the allegations. "I heard my name is in the chargesheet. I have never taken drugs. I did not even give any samples. If you can prove that I took drugs, I am ready for anything," she challenged. The conflicting claims from the police and Hema's strong denial have created curiosity about where this case will head next.
Hema was previously held in judicial custody for 14 days at Parappana Agrahara Jail in Bengaluru. Later, she was granted bail with conditions by the Bengaluru Rural NDPS Special Court. The Movie Artists Association (MAA) had initially suspended Hema after her arrest, but the suspension was lifted in August.
