In Tamil Nadu's Krishnagiri district, a disturbing incident has come to light where 13 schoolgirls were sexually harassed under the pretext of forming an NCC unit at their private school. The police have arrested 11 people, including the school principal and two teachers, after one girl was sexually assaulted and 12 others were harassed in the first week of this month. The incident took place during an NCC camp where girls were housed in the school auditorium while boys were on the ground floor. Shockingly, no teacher was assigned to supervise the children, allowing the accused to commit these heinous acts. Thangadurai, revealed that the victims had reported the harassment to the school authorities, who attempted to cover it up.
